The boundaries of the Town of Pelham, the Villages of Pelham and Pelham Manor, and the Union Free School District No.1 are coterminus. This simplifies the structure of the town government since there is no unincorporated Pelham area. Thus the Town of Pelham is a legal but not a separate geographical area.
